Wigwams
Wigwams are the latest addition to the Croft Bunkhouse & Bothies, and are very popular with individuals, couples and small groups/families. A wigwam is a curved wooden building made from sustainable Sitka/Norway spruce, which is grown in Scottish forests.
Poles are bent into a curved shape and fomed into a 'whalebone' frame, which is then timber-clad on the outside. Inside they are highly insulated, double glazed, and have wooden floors and whitewashed walls.
The wigwams have electric heating and lighting, and are comfortably equiped with mattresses, seating, and a table. They also have microwaves, kettles, fridges, and socket outlets.
The toilets & showers are situated nearby, and there is also access to all of the facilities in the main bunkhouse which include a large kitchen, and a spacious dining and lounge area.
Please note that you have to bring your own sleeping bags for the Wigwams.
The wigwams are available for 'exclusive' use only, prices as follows-
Single occupancy £30-00 p/n, 2 persons £50-00 p/n, 3 persons £60-00 p/n.
( 3 adults maximum per wigwam).
